The King’s Fund Covid-19 Guidelines

  • Different entrance and exit points to encourage one-way system
  • Hand sanitisers are available throughout the building.
  • Directional signage that enables social distancing has been installed throughout the venue.
  • Track-and-trace guidelines require us to provide a list of our attendees and your contact details to the venue. This information will be retained for 21 days and then deleted.

CLEANLINESS AND DELEGATE SAFETY

  • MIA-secure accreditation.
  • At The King’s Fund, event managers, reception staff, catering staff, cleaning staff and porters have received Covid-19 training from a health and safety professional with a health care background.
  • All rooms will be cleaned at the end of each meeting
  • Cleaning staff will be on site throughout the day.
  • There will be increased cleaning of all high-contact surfaces.
  • We would recommend that you retain the same seat throughout the event.
  • Equipment will be cleaned after each use.
  • If you feel unwell it is advised to go home.

CATERING AND FOOD SAFETY

  • Touch-free food offering
  • Catering staff will serve all food and beverages to prevent any cross-contamination.
  • Catering staff will wear appropriate PPE to protect staff and delegates.
  • Catering operations are audited and accredited by Navitas, an independent health and safety consultancy.
  • The venue’s catering team is led by a Covid-19 security champion.

FACILITIES AND LOGISTICS

  • Fresh air ventilation is provided in all rooms to reduce potential viral load.
  • Tablecloths will not be used.
  • Unmanned cloakrooms are located adjacent to each theatre. Coat trees will be available in small meeting rooms.

Toilets are located on each floor. You will be asked to use the toilets on the same floor as your meeting room.
